3.1 SUSTAINABILITY POLICIES AND GOALS

Social responsibility, with emphasis on sustainable development is the focus of our operations and a major element of the outlined Strategic Development Programme of the Pošta Slovenije Group until 2025.

Sustainability is a commitment that is engrained in all aspects of our operations, from logistics transactions, where we strive for the electrification of the vehicle fleet and the improvement of environmental efficiency in all areas of operations, to the commercial and social aspects of our operations.

The Pošta Slovenije Group, which is one of the largest providers of logistics services in Slovenia, together with the Intereuropa Group ambitiously strive for our common objective to become the leading provider of comprehensive logistics solutions in the wider region of Southeast Europe, also supporting all 17 of the United Nations’ sustainable development goals. Through its activities it actively contributes to the achievement of the following five objectives: Decent work and (green) economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure, sustainable cities and communities, climate action, and partnerships for the goals.

The Pošta Slovenije Group is part of the national and global environment subject to rapid and comprehensive changes that affect both personal life and business. The Pošta Slovenije Group’s decisions and activities also affect society and the environment. We therefore are and will continue to be proactive in identifying and analysing changes, and understanding their impact on our operations.
